There’s a problem here
And it has to do with me
So you need to hear
My life’s troubled story
There’s a girl I like
But she doesn’t feel the same
That’s a painful strike
But who is the one to blame?
CHORUS:
Well no matter how hard I try
I’m always seen as the nice guy
And hearing this just makes me
worse
I want to be rid of this curse
Please see me as more than that
Please see me as more than that
As I have grown up
It has just become routine
To always one-up
The guys that were always mean
It works out at first
Then turns out to be my vice
Made my bubble burst
To find out that I’m too nice
CHORUS
Heaven knows
There’s something wrong with me
And it shows
Since I care too greatly
Well I know
I let the moments pass
Goes to show
Nice guys always finish last
CHORUS
CHORUS
The title of this one is something many guys might relate to. The concept of the "nice guy" is familiar to society. However, I decided to write this based on an idea that nice guys might not finish last, unlike what the popular phrase says. Some guys might feel the same way at times in their life.
